The East Cobb Islamic Center began master planning discussions with HFR in early 2019 to design a new multi-purpose building and mosque for the center’s growing congregation in Marietta, GA. The multi-purpose building came complete with a gymnasium, kitchen and mezzanine with future classrooms while the mosque building included worship space, church offices and connectivity to the multi-purpose hall. HFR incorporated the use of masonry, stucco and metal panels/roofing, which resulted in an overall traditional look.
