July 2021 – Construction on the Multi-Purpose Hall and Sanctuary for East Cobb Islamic Center wrapped up this summer and  the ECIC family can now enjoy the different spaces designed for meetings and classes, as well as the new gymnasium for basketball, volleyball, wall paddling and more.  HFR incorporated the use of masonry, stucco and metal panels/roofing to create a traditional look for the functional space, all while leaving room for a expansion into a future Sanctuary. Congratulations to ECIC, we hope that the East Cobb community enjoy their new Hall and Sanctuary!

October 2020 – HFR is honored to be providing Architecture and Engineering services for the new Multi-Purpose Hall for the East Cobb Islamic Center.  Located in Marietta, Georgia, the site has an existing sanctuary and will provide a new 8,500 square foot Multi-Purpose Hall/Sanctuary.  The design includes a mezzanine level for future classrooms and meeting spaces, a gymnasium of basketball goals, volleyball goals, wall padding, scoreboards, etc.  The infrastructure allows for future classrooms with smartboards and internet connectivity and also provides for expansion into a future sanctuary.
