March 2021 – HFR has had the privilege of assisting Chick-fil-A in opening its latest licensee location at the University of Kentucky’s main dining hall ‘The 90’, the restaurant’s second location on campus.    The designers preserved a unique feature of the existing space that greets visitors upon entering – a large fireplace that now acts as a divider to separate the dining area from the ordering area.   The horizontal wood finishes and ceiling feature, which match the wood detailing throughout the restaurant, together with the cast stone hearth create a warm and inviting space so that students can unwind while they enjoy their meals.

We are excited for the students at the University of Kentucky to enjoy their new Chick-fil-A, and we hope to include more special features like this one in future licensee locations.
