Entry Level Architectural Position

Hill Foley Rossi & Associates is currently offering entry-level Architectural positions in the Duluth, Georgia office. Successful candidates should have experience in a variety of technical, administration and production aspects of commercial architectural design (construction) projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Use of CADD and Revit in the production of construction drawings. 
  • Involvement in plan review for quality control and code compliance. 
  • Client communications including design development and client support.

Qualifications: 

  • Exceptional team-building abilities, detail oriented, problem-solving, follow-through and organization skills are key to this position. 
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities. 
  • College degree in Drafting Technology 
  • Experience in Revit / AutoCAD 
  • Must have excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, ability to work effectively in a team atmosphere, and meet deadlines. 
  • This is not a remote working position 

Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. 

Civil Engineer

Hill Foley Rossi & Associates is currently seeking a Civil Engineer. Successful candidates should be able to blend technical knowledge, communicate ideas to creatively solve problems and take initiative to deliver high quality and technically sound site civil designs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Produce site/civil construction documents for commercial development.
  • Work closely with a team during the design phase of a project to facilitate the production process.
  • Responsible for the creation of supporting calculations for the drainage design for the specific site.

Qualifications:

  • Self-motivated and detail oriented.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience with commercial site development require.
  • Must be proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D and be able to deliver site planning layouts, storm drainage modeling, water/sanitary sewer design, hydraflow modeling and establishment of plan and profile horizontal and vertical alignment.
  • Experience in developing site layout and design including site grading and storm drainage, detention and water quality design, water and sewer infrastructure, erosion and sediment control must be demonstrated.
  • Must have excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, ability to work effectively in a team atmosphere, and meet deadlines

This is not a remote working position. Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Structural Engineer

Hill Foley Rossi & Associates is currently offering a Structural position for a Structural EIT or Engineer in the Duluth, Georgia office. Successful candidates should have experience in a variety of technical, administration and production aspects of commercial building projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Create engineering calculations, construction drawings, review and edit project specifications, and have an understanding of current building design codes.
  • Perform construction administration tasks.
  • Perform on site construction observations. It could be possible that at times, site construction observations may require travel.
  • Perform structural field assessments on building expansion, and retrofit projects.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, in varying stages of design, and construction.

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum Bachelor of Science Degree, at an accredited College or University.
  • EIT certification is required, but an engineer who has been registered for 1-3 years, is preferred.
  • Must have experience in the design of Structural Steel, Masonry, Concrete, and Wood. Light Gage Metal design experience is a benefit.
  • Experience creating project construction documents utilizing, AutoCAD, or Revit
  • Experience with MS Office software, and structural design software such as Enercalc, and RISA.
  • Ability to interact and communicate clearly with clients, and all disciplines of the project design team. 
  • This is not a remote working position
