January 2021 – The new Andy’s Frozen Custard in Athens, GA will begin construction next month on West Broad Street – a prime location for this unique building design that features a transparent glass front façade that allows customers to see their favorite frozen treats being made firsthand.

The building exterior creates a fun atmosphere, highlighted by a large canopy with Andy’s signature red and white color scheme that is best viewed at night with a Vegas-like array of lighting.  The interior design will incorporate a tribute to the city of Athens and the fan favorite University of Georgia Bulldogs – a personal touch that shows the company’s support for the local community.

Andy’s freestanding restaurants have both drive-thru and walk-up order windows, and provide a frozen custard experience you can’t get anywhere else, serving a wide variety treats – from simple vanilla or chocolate cones, to seasonal favorites like Pumpkin Pie Concretes and Strawberry Shortcake Sundaes.
