Christian Powers, R.A. continues his architectural journey here at Hill Foley Rossi & Associates as an associate. He holds a Bachelor’s of Architecture degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Upon graduation in 2014, Christian joined HFR as an architectural designer and later became licensed as a registered Architect in 2021.

Christian’s experience spans multiple market sectors, thanks to the mentorship and opportunities provided to him from within the firm. Some of the highlights of his portfolio include mercantile, retail, restaurant, financial, & worship & community markets. With this broad experience and understanding, Christian continues to provide a well-balanced and robust approach to the design & construction process within the firm.

Christian’s desire is to further improve the firm’s identity both regionally and locally by transformative marketing and business development initiatives. Christian’s active participation in organizations like the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce Chairman’s Club and his affiliation with The National Council of Registration Board (NCARB) are some of the channels he is looking to implement these internal goals of the firm. Christian is also involved in the mentorship of future young aspiring professionals who seek to understand the profession. His current mentorship is involved with high school students at Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science, and Technology (GSMST).

In his capacity as an associate, Christian places a high emphasis on effective communication, adept problem-solving, collaborative teamwork, & servant leadership. As Christian continues to grow, he views leadership as a privilege – a chance to serve, encourage, & create projects that positively influence the community and industry at large.

Christian enjoys his time outside of work with his family & community church. He enjoys reading, exploring the woods with his family as well as supporting wildlife conservation efforts. If you are lucky, you may even spot him enjoying some of his downtime in local freshwater streams and rivers fly fishing.
